The Carolina Theatre is located at 309 West Morgan Street, Durham, NC.

We operate two Box Offices to better serve you. Event and film tickets may be purchased at either location:

Fletcher Hall Box Office Hours are 11am - 6pm, Monday through Friday, and on day-of-show one hour before show time.

The Cinema Box Office opens one half hour before the first feature of the day.

Special Needs

Patrons with special needs should call the box office at (919) 560-3030 or (888) 241-8162 to purchase tickets.  If you need special seating arrangements please do not purchase your tickets online as we may not be able to accommodate you on the night of the performance.

Canceled Performances

If a Carolina Theatre presented performance is canceled, you may return your tickets to the Carolina Theatre Box Office for a full refund or exchange toward another Star Series event. Refunds are granted only for canceled performances. All events are subject to performer, date, or time changes. Should a change in the scheduled program occur, the Carolina Theatre will make a timely announcement and contact ticket holders as efficiently as possible.

Ticket Refunds and Exchanges

All Carolina Theatre ticket sales are final. Carolina Theatre Star Members at the Rising Star level ($500 annually) and above may exchange tickets for alternate Star Series events. Tickets for Star Series events that you are unable to use may be donated to the Carolina Theatre’s annual fund as a tax-deductable contribution, provided that they are returned to the Box Office at least 48 hours prior to the given performance.
