Durham, N.C. – The Carolina Theatre of Durham, Inc is offering members of the press a preview of an all new historic exhibit chronicling the 85 year history of the Carolina Theatre complex.

This fascinating history of Durham’s beloved theater is told through stunning wall graphics of historic photos, reproductions of original blueprints, playbills and advertisements, and informational panels that recount the construction, life and later restorations of this great building. 
Speakers include Bob Nocek, President/CEO of the Carolina Theatre, members of the Carolina Theatre’s Board of Trustees, and a representative from Design Dimension, Inc – the Raleigh firm responsible for the design and installation of the exhibit.

WHEN: TUESDAY, NOVEMBER 1 10AM
WHERE: THE CAROLINA THEATRE in DOWNTOWN DURHAM
NOTE: Installation will be wrapping up on the project during this event. The completed exhibit will be unveiled at a public ceremony taking place at 6PM on Saturday, November 5, just before the Boney James concert in the Carolina Theatre’s Fletcher Hall.
