Away We Go is the first studio production to adopt green
filmmaking initiatives aimed to reduce CO2 emission. Garbage was reduced
by half, thanks to the various bins for recyclable material. Caterers
used ceramic and washed dishes as opposed to throwaway products.
Vehicles on the set used biodiesel fuel.

Stephen Frears, director of The Queen and High Fidelity, continues to
demonstrate his genre-defying talent with this adaptation of a Colette
novel. Set in Paris in the years before World War I, Chéri paints a
picture of the romance between young Chéri (Rupert Friend) and retired
courtesan Léa (Michelle Pfeiffer). Chéri’s mother (Kathy Bates), a rival
of Léa, plots to separate the pair by arranging a marriage between her
son and Edmée (Felicity Jones). Screenwriter Christopher Hampton
previously collaborated with the director on Dangerous Liaisons.

Dan Akroyd and John Belushi star as Ellwood and Jake Blues. Upon Jake's
release from prison, the brothers are reunited and visit the orphanage
they grew up in--only to discover that it is in danger of being shut
down for failure to pay taxes. With a little help from James Brown, the
brothers are inspired to raise the $5,000 needed by reuniting their old
band. The film is spiced with fabulous R&B numbers from such greats as
Aretha Franklin and Ray Charles.

Tickets are on sale Monday through Friday from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. at the
Fletcher Hall Box Office (downstairs) and one half-hour before the first
feature of the day at the Cinema Box Office (upstairs) Purchase tickets
early to avoid long lines.
Adult tickets are $8.00 for evening shows and $6.25 for matinees.
Tickets are $6.25 for members, seniors and students (with ID) for
evening shows and matinees. Tickets for the Summer Repertory Film Series
are $10 ($8 for Star Members) for the double feature. Times, films and
locations subject to change. Weekly schedules are confirmed on Tuesdays
