This collection centers on images of transgender and gender-nonconforming folks, celebrating the beautiful richnesss of self-discovery and the driving determination of living an authentic life. New Zealand: Alex is getting ready for a visit from his childhood best friend Charlotte, but he has changed since the last time they met. From the moment she knocks on the door things only get more difficult for him in Actually Alex. United Kingdom: Ariel explores the common occurrences faced daily on the steets by the homeless and LGBT communities worldwide. As morning creeps across London, two lost outcasts are forced to look at themselves and face the harsh reality that life is sometimes what you make it. In Dawn. Meet Alex, from Cardiff in Wales in My Genderation: Grrl Alex. Brazil: Seven people share their thoughts to burst the bubble of a much avoided topic in Beyond the Looking Glass. France: In Eva, a shy boy decides to resort to the services of a transgender prostitute. Canada: Handsome & Majestic follows the story of Milan, a recently transitioned transgender boy, who deals with discrimination and abuse from his peers and teachers at school; eventually becoming a role model for trans people in his small community and beyond: Netherlands: Nasser is about a 13-year-old Dutch girl from Moroccan descent named Nassira who acts like a boy and dislikes girl stuff. When Nassira has her first period, her mother thinks it is time to behave like a young woman, but does Nassira feel the same way?
