Women's Mixed Shorts
195 Lewis, Two Birds, Kismet, Pony Tale,

Will they or won’t they?  That’s the question asked in these 4 electrifying shorts. United States: 195 Lewis is a narrative series about the loves and challenges faced by a group of Black, queer, and polyamorous women in Bed-Stuy, Brooklyn. Refreshingly unburdened by the usual tropes of the genre (coming out, crushing poverty, etc.), this series showcases universality in the specific. In Two Birds, Ellie and Rose like each other. The only problem is that they have never met, even though they both frequent the same coffee shop. The question is ---who will make the first move? In Kismet, heartbroken Jessica meets the charismatic Jada. Reluctant to give anyone new a chance, even Jessica has to admit there is something to how they kept meeting. An unpleasant surprise puts the flame out of their budding romance, but will they find themselves back together? Israel: In Pony Tale, 17 year-old Adva is trapped in a never-ending circle between fantasy and reality. Hitchhiking to Tel-Aviv to visit a gay party, she is determined to fulfill her wildest erotic fantasy.
