Scary Lucy, Up or Out, A Ranchera Song, When I See You, Feedback, Idea of Me
Women's Mixed Drama and Comedy Shorts

These 6 shorts celebrate an array of young voices that span the globe. Comedy and melodrama collide in these films that are sure to delight even the most-hardened festival-goer's palette. United States: After seeing a hideous statue dedicated to her comedic idol, Lucille Ball, a risk-averse comedienne battling a recent breast cancer diagnosis makes it her mission to destroy Scary Lucy. With both of their Up or Out contracts ending, Isabella and Lucy, strangers who work for the same no-nonsense boss, are pitted against each other to accelerate the elimination process. Without realizing their connection, they meet in a bar and sparks instantly fly. A young woman becomes emotionally detached in her relationship as she struggles with depression and fear of intimacy in Idea of Me. Spain: Rocio is not in the mood for wedding-type festivities because her girlfriend has just dumped her. Lola, Rocio's sister, is able to sing A Ranchera Song even though the post-breakup atmosphere is not good. Canada: Tired of putting her girlfriend ahead of her stifled dance career, Kira accepts an opportunity to be a featured dancer in New York City. But when her zealous girlfriend, Bea, unexpectedly opposes the change, Kira must hastily choose between her relationahip or her career in When I See You. France: Maude and Clothilde have been together for several years, but no longer look at each other. But when Maude suddenly loses her hearing she tries to get closer to Clothilde, who constantly avoids her in Feedback.
