Counting, A Meal With Dad, The 3rd Try, Dawn of the Deaf, Queen's Mile, Love You to Death, Y

The strength and resilience of the lesbian community and family is at the fore of this diverse program of shorts. United States: In 1951, Violet and Milly make a love promise over a penny. In 2015, the promise comes due, and Violet must face a heartbreaking reality in Counting. In A Meal With Dad, haunted by a past that never was, Justine gets a lesson in cooking and family ties from an unexpected source. An emotionally unstable lesbian couple tries to find solace after experiencing a traumatic loss in The 3rd Try. United Kingdom: When a strange sound infects the hearing population, a small group of Deaf people must band together to survive in Dawn of the Deaf. Queen’s Mile is a heartwarming story of a young woman’s courage in coping with depression, in her own unique way. Canada: In Love You to Death, Chloe is ready to start a new romance with Nat but someone from her past might be rolling over in her grave before this happens. Germany: In Y, Laura is a self-confident young woman, a member of the new “Me Me Me Generation“, also known as Generation Y. One night she meets Safi, who has fled her homeland. The encounter gives Laura food for thought.
