Milos Forman's HAIR
RETRO MUSICALS FILM SERIES PRESENTS

Milos Forman's HAIR

Let the sun shine in . . . all over again!

Milos Forman's film adaptation of the popular, controversial Broadway musical is an effective evocation of the hippie movement of the late '60s. The story centers on a reserved Midwesterner (John Savage) who joins a pack of hippies in Central Park on his way to joining the Army. The film stands on the success of its musical numbers, which were choreographed by Twyla Tharp and sung by vocalists like Ellen Foley, Ronnie Dyson, Nell Carter and Melba Moore.
