It's that feeling you have while working on cars with your dad. NCGLFF 2018 brings 6 of the funniest short films from around the globe to the big screen. United States: That's Me on the Right follows a young gay professional named Simon. He's on the brink of giving up on the search for love but perhaps he's looking in the wrong places, with a little help from an unexpected source, he has a change in direction. Femme is a film about Carson, a gay twenty-something looking for love on all the wrong apps. After being shamed by an online hoookup for being too "femme", Carson must confront his own notions of masculinity and gender roles within the LGBTQ community. Roger's smoking habit has bugged his partner Sam for years. When Roger finally decides to quit, Sam is thrilled to support him. After the campaign fails, Sam is bitterly devastated, but then sees a dangerous new idea that may save his life even though it might cost them their relationship in The Quit. Mexico: In Orizaba's Peak, an increasingly-heated discussion between two good buddies about a book takes a hilarious turn when they mistakenly assume the other is coming out of the closet! Spain: During football training, two friends celebrate a goal effusively, which causes an unexpected reaction in one of them in Late for Break Time. Israel: Looking for an engagement ring alongside her fiance, Yasmin encounters her ex-boyfriend in For Life.
