The Giant Gila Monster

9:30 pm

Only Hell could breed such an enormous beast. In a small Texas town, hot-rodding teenagers find they have more to fear than their parents and school officials. A giant gila monster is roaming the town doing what monsters do best – killing everything in its path. This is a low-budget 50's monster movie just like you like ‘em---cute babes, hot rods, surly juvenile delinquents and a huge lizard out to wreak havoc.

Did you know…?
Compared to the spectacular effects in Them!, 1959’s The Giant Gila Monster makes no apologies for being a low-budget B-movie.  Now considered a cult classic and featured on Mystery Science Theatre 3000, Gila was shot on a $138,000 budget and is fondly remembered for its live gila monster attacking model trains and landscapes.
