Moviediva Film Series

Moviediva Film Series

What is the Moviediva Film Series? Those of you who know me from my eighteen years as Film Curator at the North Carolina Museum of Art, or, from my monthly WUNC Radio Appearances on The State of Things with Frank Stasio and Marsha Gordon, have an inkling about my taste already. My movie preferences do not always coincide with that of Rotten Tomatoes. I like films with strong women characters. Comedy is cool, as is quotable dialogue, strong storytelling, distinctive acting; original production design and fabulous costumes never hurt. No violence, please (yes, I know it's fake, but I have to close my eyes, anyway). I love the movies in my series and I hope you do too. The Moviediva Film Series will run from July to November, 2018.
