Australia: Dances is a collection of true conversations from dating apps from the queer community, explored through dance and animation. Your postcode shouldn't dictate what you can wear and who you can love in Pride Out West. United States: Preceded by:  In Black Enuf*, a queer oddball seeks approval from black peers despite a serious lack of hip-hop credentials. Their quest for a Black Card (undeniable acceptance of their racial identity) takes them halfway around the world. Director: Carrie Hawks (Black Enuf) Fighting Two Wars: The Story of Thalia Jane Ainsley is the story of a Vietnam war veteran who transitioned to female late in life. In Greensboro, North Carolina, drag queens take part in Drag Queen Storytime, where they read stories in full drag to children in order to promote diversity. In the far reaches of Oaxaca, the local people have made room for a third gender category called Muxes---men who live in a socially sanctioned space between the two genders. When Cassie tells Jim about a male bodied friend who identifies as a girl, Jim's concepts of gender and identity are challenged in Jim's Introduction to Gender Identity. After a traumatic encounter, a young gay Egyptian joins the LGBT rights movement. When his safety is jeopardized, he must choose whether to stay in the country he loves or seek asylum elsewhere as a refugee. Half a Life is a timely story of activism and hope, set in the increasingly dangerous, oppressive, and unstable social climate of Egypt today. David, in Brief involves one of the oldest narratives of all time: The story of David and Goliath.
