Albert S. Rogell’s THE BLACK CAT

Albert S. Rogell’s THE BLACK CAT

A wealthy matriarch makes a deathbed recovery only to be murdered by someone in her greedy family (including Basil Rathbone, Bela Lugosi and Alan Ladd) gathered for the reading of the will. Frustrated to learn that nobody receives a penny until the last of the old lady’s beloved cats perish, the clan now finds themselves trapped in the mansion by a raging storm, as people and cats turn up dead.
