Let The Second City take all the risk while you sit back and laugh at our latest sketch comedy and improv revue, LOOK BOTH WAYS BEFORE TALKING, coming to the Carolina Theatre of Durham. We’ll put our signature spin on the things you wish you could bring up in mixed company--just be careful who you share them with when you head back to the office!

ADAM ARCHER is thrilled to be performing with The Second City Touring Company. Adam hails from Columbus, GA where he worked as an actor, director, and teacher for The Springer Opera House. He received his degree in Theater Education from Columbus State University and has worked at theaters all over the east coast. He is a graduate of the Second City Conservatory as well as the iO Chicago training program. He is represented by Actor's Talent Group. Thanks be to his parents and siblings.
DANNY CATLOW is from Texas. Before working in Chicago, Danny performed at Coldtowne Theater in Austin. He performs weekly at The Annoyance with Mick Napier’s Trigger Happy and The Annoyance’s Holy F*** Comedy Hour. Danny also performs at Flat Iron Comedy and iO Chicago. ALISON GATES can also be seen with Virgin Daiquiri (iO Chicago), Glass Basement (iO Chicago), Trigger Happy (The Annoyance), and with her bud Garrett in The Fallen Elegant. She is represented by Paonessa Talent. Born and raised in Massachusetts, she too is small and historic.
EVE KRUEGER has been a member of The Second City's National Touring Company since March 2015. She has also performed for The Second City on the Norwegian Breakaway and as an understudy for several other Second City revues. In Chicago, Eve improvises regularly with Trigger Happy at The Annoyance. Previously, she was a member of Under The Gun's (Chicago) improv ensemble, the improv ensembles at Dad's Garage Theatre (Atlanta, GA) and Laughing Matters (Atlanta, GA). She has a cat who is Very Important to her.
LIZ REUSS (covering Lauren Walker 8/23-8/27) is excited to be performing with the amazing cast and crew on the NCL’s Dawn. Originally from Louisville, Ky., Liz is a former member of The Second City Touring Company’s Mighty Mighty BlueCo. Other credits include shows at the Up Comedy Club, iO Theater and ComedySportz. LAUREN WALKER is a Black woman from Chicago. She has worked tirelessly to scare the white man into giving her opportunities. Before being graced with the Bob Curry Fellowship, she studied at iO, The Annoyance and The Second City Training Center. These days, she performs solo material and improv with the team, Young and Old, at Flat Iron Comedy. SEAN SYKES (Music Director) Raised in Kentucky and, after a Music Education degree from the University of Mississippi, Sean has taught instrumental/general music to PreK-8th grade students in the Chicagoland area. His Second City credits include, Outreach and Diversity presents Rahm wasn't built in a Day, BenchCo, and Girls Night Out. He gives special thanks to the cast and crew of this revue, Producer's Row, and his family and friends.
TYLER SAMPLES (Director) directs, teaches and performs at The Second City, iO, and anywhere else that will have him. He and his wife Erin host the factoid podcast Rabbit Hole (with many Second City guests) at RabbitHolethePodcast.com and he couldn't do anything at all without her.
BARRY BRANFORD* (Stage Manager) is thrilled to be back at The Second City. He has stage managed at a wide variety of venues across Chicago, New York, and Atlanta, where he's often been found working on new scripts or incomprehensible avant-garde pieces, including several World and American premieres. Some personal favorites include Hamletmachine and A Couple of Poor, Polish Speaking Romanians (Trap Door Theatre), T.M.L.M.T.B.G.B. (NYC Neo-Futurists), and Paradise Hotel (ICE Productions). Thanks go to family and friends whose support seems to get only stronger as years progress, and who inspire him to think and create everyday.
