Mention African song, and most Americans think of South African practicioners of the vocal arts, the 10 member vocal ensemble, Ladysmith Black Mambazo. First brought to international attention on Paul Simon's Graceland, the group has won multiple Grammy awards, and serves as South Africa's cultural emissaries both at home and abroad.
