THE AMAZING SPIDER-MAN
(US, NR, 1977, 92 min)
A rare 35mm print of the European theatrical cut of the pilot episode to the short-lived late 70's TV series starring Nicholas Hammond!  This is the original adventure of freelance photographer Peter Parker, who, after being bitten by a radioactive spider, discovers he has gained superpowers, such as super-strength and agility and the ability to climb sheer walls and ceilings.  Designing a costume and a webshooter that allows him to fire a strong artificial web, he fights crimes as Spider-Man.

FROGS
(US, PG, 1972, 92 min)
Cold, green skin against hot, warm flesh!  This amphibious horror flick is teeming with thousands of nasty-tempered creatures that are hopping mad and murderous!   Jason Crockett (Ray Milland) is an aging, physically disabled millionaire who invites his family to his island estate for his birthday party.  Hating nature, Crockett poisons anything that crawls on his property.  But on the night of his shindig, it's nature's payback time, as thousands of frogs whip up every bug and slimy thing into a toxic frenzy until the entire environment goes environ-mental.  Also starring Sam Elliott and Joan Van Ark.

GARGOYLES
(US, NR, 1972, 74 min)
A rare 35mm print of one of the most "scared-the-hell-out-of-you-as-a-kid" made-for-TV fear flicks of the early 70s, with beautiful, rustic New Mexico locations (filmed in the Carlsbad Caverns area) and stunning Emmy-winning make-up by future Academy Award winner Stan Winston (Aliens, Jurassic Park, Terminator 2).  After receiving word about a mysterious skeleton unearthed in the Arizona desert, a father and daughter research team (Cornell Wilde and Jennifer Salt) decide to further study the carcass.  Now, terror has been unleashed as the innocent town is besieged by a colony of gargoyles living in some nearby caverns.  Watch it with the lights out....if you dare.

GRIZZLY

(US, PG, 1976, 91 min)
It's Jaws with claws!  From the director of The Manitou (1978) comes this tale about 18-feet of man-eating terror!  The innocence of going to a state park is turned into horror as a giant grizzly bear emerges from the woods and figures out that humans make for a tasty treat.  As a frustrated park ranger (Christopher George) tries rallying his men to bring about the bear's capture or destruction, his efforts are thwarted when dozens of drunken hunters arrive in the area.  Their mission: kill the bear by any means necessary including rifles...and a rocket launcher!

THE INCREDIBLE MELTING MAN
(US, R, 1977, 84 min)
Astronaut Steven West returns to Earth, the only survivor of a three-man expedition to Saturn.  Awakening in a secure hospital, West is horrified to discover that he has been overcome by an unknown disease, which causes his flesh to gradually liquefy and slide off of his bones.   The only way to prolong his demise---and get back to his wife!---is to devour the flesh of innocent victims.  Now the subject of an intense manhunt by authorities, this incredible melting man has gone insane!  Special effects maestro, Rick Baker (An American Werewolf in London) has an enormous amount of fun creating faces with liquefying eyeballs and ears and teeth exposed beneath melted lips.

INFRA-MAN
(Hong Kong, PG, 1975, 90 min)
The original mind-boggling, fast-paced monster mash! When the nefarious Dragon Princess invades Hong Kong and summons monsters up from the center of the Earth for her army, Earth's meager defense team joins together to create Infra-man, turning a young volunteer into a bionic superhero to save the world! With multiple powers at his disposal (including laser eyes and thunderball fists), he sets out to vanquish his enemy forever in the action-packed audience favorite that will have you cheering! Dubbed in English.
