The Carolina Theatre of Durham and Duke Performances are excited to co-present three extraordinary performing arts shows in 2018: Take Me to the River: Memphis Soul & R&B Revue featuring William Bell, Bobby Rush & Don Bryant, Gregory Porter, and Diego El Cigala The Carolina Theatre and Duke Performances are thrilled to extend their co-presenting relationship into another season of arts performances. The cooperation between two prominent parts of the Durham community is designed to help build a bridge between Duke students and the city.

The concert by American jazz singer Maysa, originally scheduled for Wednesday, May 28 at the Carolina Theatre, has been rescheduled to Tuesday, September 30 at 8 p.m.

We apologize for any inconvenience the postponement of the show may cause to ticket holders and fans.

All tickets purchased for Maysa's scheduled May 28 performance in Durham will be honored at the September 30 show. Ticket holders do not need to take any additional action to see the show on the rescheduled date.

Jazz and R&B great Al Jarreau will be at the Theatre tonight (May 1). The amazing vocalist will sing some of his best known songs, as well as musical rarities from his nearly 30 years worth of recorded music. Some seats are still available.

The current tour has taken Jarreau through some of the country's best and most beloved venues. He's been regularly posting interesting anecdotes to a tour diary of his experiences.
