The 21st North Carolina Gay + Lesbian Film Festival returns to the Carolina Theatre on August 12.
Presenting the best of LGBT cinema for more than two decades, the North Carolina Gay + Lesbian Film Festival (NCGLFF) returns to the Carolina Theatre of Durham on August 12-20 with a record-setting 167 films, including 134 shorts and 33 features.
Ten-Passes, which cost $85 and enable guests to choose 10 film screenings at NCGLFF, and tickets to individual screenings, which cost $10, are on sale now at the Carolina Theatre box office, ncglff.org and carolinatheatre.org.
Flaming Lips' frontman Wayne Coyne will host a screening and discussion of 'The Night Porter' at the Carolina Theatre of Durham on Dec. 15.
You'll likely never hear Wayne Coyne and the word "ordinary" used in the same sentence.
Coyne, the wonderfully weird and creatively brilliant frontman of The Flaming Lips, is coming to the Carolina Theatre of Durham for the first of a series of artist film screenings in conjunction with the Modern School of Film's Film:Acoustic series. Others will be announced as they are booked.
