Al Jarreau

Durham Food Truck Owners Reunited With Touring Artist

The co-owners of Durham food truck Pie Pushers reunited with one of their godfathers at Al Jarreau's May 1st show at the Carolina Theatre.

Becky Cascio and her husband, Mike Hacker, are the co-owners of renowned Durham food truck Pie Pushers. Their pizza-focused truck's busy schedule sometimes keeps Becky and Mike from seeing family and friends as often as they wish.

Becky rarely is able to see her godfather, Joe Turano. The California resident has his own busy schedule as a touring musician: the keyboard player and music director for legendary jazz singer Al Jarreau.
