Mademoiselle Chambon

Jean leads a pretty ordinary life : he spends his days happily between his construction sites and his house, with his loving wife and son. He feels comfortable in this routine. One day, as he’s picking up Jérémy from school, he stumbles upon Mademoiselle Chambon, his son’s teacher. She’s discreet, elegant, mesmerizing, in a way completely foreign to his environment. This chance encounter will be a turning point in his well organized life. An opportunity to change or a folly to regret...

In French w/Eng. subtitles.

Dir. Stephane Brize, France, 2010, NR, 101min

Tower of Power: October 29

July of that year. When Doc auditioned during a band rehearsal at Emilio's house, Emilio's father called him into the kitchen and offered the following advice: "Hire that guy, he's got something." Doc and his signature baritone sax sound were now in the band, and on August 13, 1968, Tower of Power, as we know them today, began playing gigs, and soon became very well known in the area.
