Marketing Coordinator

Our nonprofit is seeking a full-time Marketing Coordinator who will have the following responsibilities inside the organization:

• Develop and maintain live event marketing budgets
• Work with agents, promoters and other internal departments to create and execute marketing materials and plans
• Coordinate efforts of full-time Graphic Designer and Film Marketing Coordinator
• Facilitate media buys, coordinate ticket giveaways, create event marketing emails, assist in digital and social media marketing efforts, prepare press releases and maintain email databases.
• Other duties as assigned

This position reports to the Senior Director of Live Events.

Candidates must have a four-year degree -- or combinaton of education and equivalent experience -- and a minimum two years of concert, performing arts or sports marketing experience. Please do not apply if you do not meet these basic requirements.

This is a full-time salaried position with benefits. The position requires reliable transportation and a flexible work schedule including nights and weekends. Candidates must have excellent communication and decision-making skills.  Key competences for this position include being self-motivated, highly organized, and possessing superior attention to detail. Candidates must be experienced in the entire Microsoft Office suite of products.

 

Part-Time Positions

The Carolina Theatre is always looking to expand its pool of well-qualified employees with experience in certain areas of operations related to live events and cinema. If you have at least one year experience as a box office clerk, house manager, concessions clerk, or projectionist, and you want to work in an environment where customer service excellence is expected, we'd like to hear from you. Part-time Concessions & Box Office Staff

The Carolina Theatre is seeking enthusiastic individuals for customer service positions in Concessions and Box Office departments. Ideal candidates will have at least some experience serving customers and handling money in a fast-paced food service or entertainment type environment. We require everyone to be courteous, prompt and reliable and must be available to work a flexible schedule consisting mostly of nights and weekends. Candidates for Box Office be comfortable working with computers and box office or ticketing experience preferred, but not necessary.
